Memory Verses

Deut. 4:2 Ye shall not add unto the word which I command you, neither shall ye diminish ought from it, that ye may keep the commandments of the LORD your God which I command you.

Proverbs 30: 5,6 Every word of God is pure: he is a shield unto them that put their trust in him. Add thou not unto his words, lest he reprove thee, and thou be found a liar.

Rev. 22: 18 ,19 For I testify unto every man that heareth the words of the prophecy of this book, If any man shall add unto these things, God shall add unto him the plagues that are written in this book:

And if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book.

Psa. 138: 2 I will worship toward thy holy temple, and praise thy name for thy lovingkindness and for thy truth: for thou hast magnified thy word above all thy name.

Psa. 68: 11 The Lord gave the word: great was the company of those that published it.

The KJV has no copyright!

For nearly four hundred years now we have been printing millions of copies of KJV's without requesting permission from anyone. Over eight-hundred million copies of the Authorized Version have been printed without anyone paying royalties. This cannot be said of any of the new translations.

The new "bibles" are the work of MEN, but the KJV is a divine work of the Holy Spirit. The term "Authorized" has traditionally been applied to the King James Version alone, for this is the one Book which the Holy Spirit has blessed and used for so long.

The fact that it bears no copyright allows printing ministries throughout the world to print millions of copies each year for the mission field. I know the King James Bible is the word of God because it has no copyright.

What this Course is About. Is the King James bible the Word of God?

1. Are there Contradictions in it?

2. What about the Words in Italics?

3. What about the Archaic Words?

If everybody were Bible Readers, our language would be Bible language!

When the KJV was translated in 1611, the English Language was in its purest form.

1 SAMUEL 20:30

In the first editions of the Living Bible, Kenneth Taylor had Saul saying, "You son of a bitch." This was the reading for many years, but because of complaints, Taylor has amended the wording as follows: "Saul boiled with rage. `You fool!'" Taylor claimed that the first reading is the best rendering of the Hebrew text, but he changed it to please his critics.

1 KINGS 18:27

KJV "Cry aloud: for He is a god: either he is talking, or he is pursuing."

TLB "Perhaps he is talking to someone or else is out sitting on the toilet."

4. What about Capital Letters?

5. What about Quotation Marks?

6. What about Spellings?

I. Five Steps in Reversing God’s Word. (Genesis 3:1-4)

    1. Questioning The Word of God

Genesis 3:1 “...Yea, hath God said, Ye shall not eat of every tree of the

Garden?”

Do you believe that God really said that?

The first thing the devil did was question God’s Word!

    2. Subtracting from The Word of God

Genesis 3:2 “....We may eat of the fruit of the trees of the garden:”

Removed the word “freely” (2:16).

    3. Adding to The Word of God

Genesis 3:3 “...Ye shall not eat of it, neither shall ye touch it...”

Added “neither shall ye touch it,” instead of (2:17).

    4. Completely Changing The Word of God

Genesis 3:3 “...neither shall ye touch it, lest ye die”.

From “thou shalt surely die” (2:17) to “lest ye die”.

    5. Denial of God’s Word

Genesis 3:4 “...Ye shall not surely die:”

But God said they would!
